The Story of Dollface

The Doll Maker's Cottage

Signed print $30

A little influenced by Thomas Kinkade, with a lot of Strangely characters in it. This is the doll maker's cottage, in Strangeland. The river is Misery, which runs all the way through Strangeland. There is a trail heading off into the distance, the sky and the moon above, and the whole painting is framed by trees.

There is an opening in one of the trees in the foreground with roodles all around it. In front of the house is Stormy Weather, who Strangely collectors will know, standing as a statue fountain. The windows are lit. You could stare at this one a long time and keep finding things. I even painted the dewdrops on the leaves in the foreground in realism.
