Riding The Tortabus

One of my favorite paintings. Dollface is traveling on a tortoise that carries the creatures of Strangeland around Strangeland.
The background is where a lot of the plant life in my work comes from, the plants that keep turning up in my paintings year after year. You get the plants, the attitude and the surreal nature of the place all in one scene. It is painted at night, so under a soft light it seems to glow.
